Related Products

The Related Products tool uses AI to automatically generate suitable related and complementary products for your online store. Instead of manually searching through your assortment yourself, the AI analyzes your products and suggests the most logical links.

Open the tool via Products and click 'Related products' next to the desired product.

A screen will now open where you configure the settings for the AI:

  • Maximum number of related products (1-10): Determine how many products the AI may suggest at most.
  • Product type: Choose whether the AI should look for Related products (similar products, for example other colors or variants) or Complementary products (products that are often used or bought together).
  • Custom rules (optional): Give the AI extra instructions, for example: "Never suggest products from the Sale category."

Next, click 'Generate related products'. The AI searches through your assortment and comes up with a proposal. Review the suggested products and confirm your choice to apply the links to your online store.

Do you want to generate related or complementary products for a large number of products at once? Use the bulk function for this.

Please note: Bulk functionality depends on your subscription type. You need at least a Growth plan.

Use the search function on the products page to select the desired products and start the bulk task. Just like with the other AI tools, a test is first run on 1 product, so you can check the settings before the full batch is processed.
