The standard page section is used to display your general information pages. Think of an 'About us', 'Customer service', or 'Frequently Asked Questions' page. This section automatically fetches the title and the text (content) that you entered for the respective page in the Shopify Admin.

General Layout & Design​

Through these settings, you determine how the text area of the page is presented:

  • Color scheme: Choose the background and text colors for the entire page.
  • Section type: Determine whether the background of this section spans the full width of the screen (Edge-to-edge) or is centered within a frame (Box).
  • Custom Class: An advanced option to add a specific CSS class, handy for developers who want to apply extra custom styling to a specific page.

Spacing (Whitespace)​

To make the page align perfectly with the rest of your webshop (or any other sections you place on the same page), you can precisely manage the spacing:

  • Margin (Outer space): Adjust the distance directly outside the section, both at the top (MT - Margin Top) and at the bottom (MB - Margin Bottom).
  • Padding (Inner space): Adjust the distance inside the section, between the edge of the section and the actual text. This can also be done for the top (PT) and bottom (PB).

For each of these distances, you can choose between the Default spacing set by the theme, or None (to completely remove the space).
